We are a software consulting firm located in Los Angeles and would like to start our operations in Mexico. We are already recruiting from Mexico but would like to open a company in Mexico. I would certainly like to work with you but I would like to evaluate the feasibility of opening a company in Mexico. So initially I would like to do consulting. My partner is out of the country and would be returning next month. If possible we would like to sit down with you and ask questions from you. What we do is hire software consultants from Mexico to service our clients in the US. The goal is to somehow save money for our employees in taxes. What I have seen is that some of the companies are paying part of the salary in Mexico and part of the salary in the US. If we could find out some innovative ways to do this it would be great. Also I have also noticed that the taxes in Mexico range from 15% to 18% as compared to US where the taxes range from 28% to 35%

What I get is pagadora is a company which would do the payroll and hire our employee. So there would be no need for us to start a company in Mexico. We have to pay our employee the salary let say USD 00 dollars per month. Further the employee would get USD 0 per month net salary. On top of USD 00 we would pay (6-9%) plus 700 pesos to pagadora. Is that correct ? Please clarify ?

I purchased my property 1 year ago ... and have just found out that any income I earn via here in Canada for my condo in Vallarta  requires to have taxes paid in Mexico. So right now I am researching, trying to find out how to expedite a FM3 work visa and find an accountant to take care of things for me once that is done, so that I can rent it out and pay the proper taxes.

Now I need information as to how to claim it in Mexico and hopefully not have to pay a great deal in taxes.

Any information you can give me is appreciated. My biggest concern for an accountant is not the monthly price ... but the knowledge they have in this area. I have been told information on accountants prices ranging 30, 40 and now 80$ per month.

I have many questions:  for instance, I have been told that I must submit monthly ... if I make zero rental dollars one month, but have expenses ... are the expenses carried over to the next month that generates income? In Canada I will submit a yearly gross dollar received and then all expenses ... including my mexican taxes paid ... will be deducted and then I pay taxes on the net amount. This is done 1 times per year for the previous fiscal year.

Hi there.  I received a signing bonus from a consulting firm in Mexico City

in 2008, but ultimately didn't take the job and ended up paying them back

the bonus.  The full bonus amount was ,000, but about 1/3 were taken out

as taxes by the Mexican government. I had to pay back the full ,000

regardless.  Now I have no tax liability in Mexico, but the government has

about ,000 of mine.  The firm is going to send me the equivalent of a W-2

in Jan/Feb 2009.  I have my banking records which show that I repaid the

full ,000 and the firm confirmed reception.

Have you dealt with similar situations?  Can you advise me on how to file

for a return? If so, what might your fee be?

need to file a Mexican return (if that is what it's

called). I was surprised at how much tax the Mex.govt.

took out of my paychecks- seemed like over a fourth of

Actualmente estoy cambiando de giro de S DE RL DE CV A pequeno contribuyente, estoy a cargo de un pequeno negocio, mi contador jamas declaro y no me dijo que con el anterior giro tenia quepagar tanto impuesto, en fin, al parecer ya estoy al corriente eneso, necesito preguntarles cuanto me cobrarian por llevar mi contabilidad y hacer mis declaraciones mensuales a partir de agosto de este ciclo, yo me encargo de recopilar todos mis vauchers de compras, hago las polizas de mis cheques, en fin les entrego la papeleria en orden, lo que necesito es que me hagan los balances , estado de resultados , etc, y la declaracion de hacienda mensualmente para hacer los pagos correspondientes.

Generalmente acumulo facturas de compras de cosas que se son para reducir impuestos como son pagos de servicios, gasolina, papelería, etc., tampoco es que sea mucho

Cuanto me cuesta con ustedes para que me realicen las declaraciones trimestrales y anual.

Dependiendo de los costos, me evitarán seguir buscando nuevo contador para las declaraciones ante hacienda

que somos una empresa pequeña que se dedica a la fabricación,

importación y exportación de muebles para jardín e interior

en madera de teka. Requiero me proporcione su cotización,

como son los pagos, datos para depósito y/o transferencia,

así como el FORMATO UNIVERSAL que según entiendo se les enviará

cada fin de mes y que les servirá como base para la eleboración

y pago de los impuestos.

Si la verdad es que tengo ya un problema grave con mis declaraciones, desde que me di de alta no e regresado ningun IVA, pero pasa que no me a salido trabajo y solo vivo de ese ingreso, que es el de Inmuebles, me podrian dar un presupuesto para saber mas o menos en cuanto me podria salir de este problema?

Les tendria que pasar el numero de facturas relizadas o el IVA retenido?
