NATIONAL INDEX OF PRICES TO THE CONSUMING BASE SECOND QUARTER OF JULY 2002 = 100 (1) The article 17-A of the Fiscal Code of the Federation establishes that when an amount is updated, in case that the INPC of the month previous to most recent of the period by which is being updated has been published by the Bank of Mexico, the question update will be made applying the last published monthly index. Also, it establishes that the contributions, the advantages, as well as the returns in charge of the federal state treasury, will not be updated by fractions of month. Note: The pattern of familiar consumption in the Mexican Republic has varied from 1994, year that is considered as reference to determine the variation in the prices of the consumption concepts which they integrate the INPC. As a result of this modification, according to the procedures applied internationally, the ponderadores have been updated and the concepts of consumption to the corresponding ones to the second fortnight of June of 2002 have been adapted. It, in order that the National Index of Prices to the Consumer reflects of more suitable way the variations in the value of the monetary signs of the country. By the previous thing, the Bank of Mexico has determined to use as period bases the second fortnight of June of 2002 on the determination of referred índice.El 25 of 2002 July, the Bank of Mexico established the new base of the National Index of Price to the mentioned Consumer, publishing the 9 of August the June and July index.
